PITCH: Social Roadblocks of Being a Japanese Major

Dear Rachel,
I hope this email finds you well.
I recently wrote a news feature detailing the journey that two Japanese Language students took while making the decision to major in Japanese. The students felt like outsiders, especially when talking about their future plans.
The feature tells how the pair decided to come together to help other students in the Japanese major, as well as other students who are only interested in the language or culture, form a community at their university, which is now known as Japan Club.
The news feature would do well on your platform because your target audience is people interested in Japanese language or culture, and it would be an interesting addition to the interviews section of your site. Many members of your audience might feel similarly to how these students did before they created their own community, and the feature may even help others to create or join communities of their own.
I have attached my news feature, so let me know what you think. I will contact you next week to follow up. Meanwhile, you may reach me at 731-609-5507 for any questions.
